Cancelation
Payment is due in full at time of booking and there are no refunds for cancelations. If you need to reschedule the rental, contact us directly at [email protected] no less than 30 days prior to your reservation date. We will assist you in rescheduling the rental. If the dress you originally booked is not available at your new selected time, you will be allowed to choose from our other available options. You will be charged a $50 reschedule fee plus any difference in the cost of the dress. There are no credits available for dresses of lesser costs.
Shipping
Shipping to you is included in the rental price. Shipping is sent by USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail which takes about 3 days. If you receive your dress early, you get extra days! Your rental period does not begin until your reserved date. Return shipping is not included. You will be required to ship the dress by the same method to the address provided to you. You will have 7 full days for your rental period. In order to ensure the next client receives their dress in time for their scheduled shoot or special occasion, you must ship the dress no later than the 8th day of your rental period. An email with the tracking number is required to confirm return shipping. Failure to confirm return shipping by the end of your 8th day will incur a $25 late fee for each day you are late. If you do not ship the dress by the end of the 9th day you will be required to overnight the dress to the address provided to you at your own cost. If the dress is not shipped out by the end of the 10th day, you must still overnight the dress and you will be liable for any refunds owed to clients that did not receive their dress because of your failure to ship it on time. If the dress is not shipped within 14 days after the end of your rental period, in addition to your late fees, you will be charged the full replacement cost of the dress which can range from $1200-$2000 or more depending on the dress. Late fees will continue to incur for up to 90 days.
Local Rentals
Dresses will be picked up and dropped off in person at the location provided to you. Our Oahu based dresses can be rented by the day or by the week. Prices range depending on the length of the reservation. In order to ensure the next client receives their dress in time for their scheduled shoot or special occasion, you must return the dress by 10:00 am the day after your rental period ends, unless other arrangements have been made. There will be a $25 late fee for each day you are late. If you do not return the dress within 14 days after the end of your rental period, in addition to your late fees, you will be charged the full replacement cost of the dress, which can range from $1200-$2000 or more depending on the dress. Late fees will continue to incur for up to 90 days.
Damages and Losses
You are responsible to ensure the dress is clean and in good condition for the next client. You will be charged for all repairs for any damage to the dress that occurs to it while it is in your care. To ensure that you are not charged for damage created by another client, we recommend that you take detailed photos of the dress the day you receive it and the day you ship it out. If damages occur while it is in your care, take pictures and contact us immediately for instructions. If the damage cannot be repaired, you will be charged for the full replacement cost of the dress which can range from $1200-$2000 or more depending on the dress. You must not repair any damage yourself. All repairs will be handled by Ka Lole Hele. Because of the nature of the materials of these dresses, special handling is required. We have an experienced seamstress on staff for all repairs. Repair rates are reasonable and will be fully disclosed to you. Attempts to repair any damages yourself will incur a $200 penalty.
If the dress is lost or stolen while it is in your care, you will be charged for the replacement cost of the dress. If the dress is lost in the mail after you send it, you will still be responsible. We require you to include insurance on the package when you ship the dress. The cost of the dress will be included in your shipping instructions email.

Replacement Fee: Varies (charged if damages are too great or dress is shipped later than 14 days past rental period)
Exclusive Use
The dress is to be used exclusively by the renting client. The dress is not to be shared with any other photographers, models, or clients unless prior arrangements have been made.
Photo Credit
You are free to post your images with our dresses on your websites and social media. However, we do request that you tag or credit us for the dress rental.
